| Introduction | National Sea Angling Adviser with the Irish Fisheries Board for 30 years. 1st PRO of the Irish Federation of Sea Anglers, and founder member of Sea Angling Liaison Committee of GB and Ire. Member of the Irish Specimen and Record Fish Committee for 10 years, Holds awards for 10 specimens and 10 species of specimen fish. Has written for a number of publications, most notably UK magazine “Sea Angler” Produced sea angling guides to the Northern, North Western, Southern & Eastern Fisheries areas of Ireland. Was also co-author, with Peter Green, of sea angling survey reports for the Shannon Estuary, Waterville and Waterford Harbour, with Mike Thrussell for Kilmore Quay and S. Wexford, and David Byrne for Co. Louth. Co-authored the book “Sea Angling” published by Gill and McMillan, with Peter Green. Most recently published works were a 130 page guide entitled “Sea Angling in Ireland” and a colour brochure/map for Failte Ireland. Has also appeared in several television and video productions and numerous radio broadcasts. Acted as technical adviser on several films and videos including the award winning “From Source To Sea” |
