Introduction	My occupation? Well, sometimes I'm a cook and a maid, but I'm usually a teacher/farmer and a mother/wife. We moved out here Jan of 2010, and so many were interested in our journeys and adventures that I started an e-mail newsletter. That led to a blog. I actually started the blog in Oct of 2010. I copied the e-mails into blogs. Read the posts, and that will pretty much tell you everything else. I try to insert humor as much as I can, but it's not always easy.
Interests	knitting, learning, basketry, chickens, plants
Favorite movies	Not a movie person. I like sci-fi and comedy that I can watch with my family. I miss TV (BBCAmerica especially), and enjoyed How Clean is Your House, and now watch the IT Crowd, Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served?, Are You Being Served Again?, Keeping Up Appearances, and As Time Goes By. Also, Eureka, NCIS, and reruns of Voyager/Enterprise/etc. Netflix has been a TV saviour.
Favorite music	It has to have soul, and requires talent (usually). Loreena Mckinnet, Metallica (b4 they sued Napster), Offspring, Howard Lyons, Evanescence
Favorite books	Harry Potter. Currently awaiting something worth reading again. The Rowan Tapestry series is pretty good, and so is the Enola Holmes sometimes.
