| Introduction | Mother of two; daughter , son, and 1 grandson, and I love them dearly. My interest is in writing, and poetry, and this year I've pledged my dream to have my work published by March 2010 as a personal accomplishment. Along my journey I hope someone is inspired to pledge his or her dream and step over their fears. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ UPRISING copyright 2009 by Karen Brown In the mirror is where you realized your uprising had taken control, your vision became clear as reality and disorder purged from your soul. You ceased all tales of wonder and gave rise to your poetic voice, in the mirror, you dismissed your inner fears and regarded it as your only choice. In the mirror, you shattered the doubt games that tested your sense of pride, and established that all of your glory was hidden in the words you held inside. You excused yourself from apprehension and exhibited emotions only you can amend, in the mirror, you vocalized internal matters sometimes only for you to comprehend. In the mirror, you claimed your freedom to accept what you knew all along, that rhyme is the rendition of your spirit and only you can decipher "its" wrong. |

| Favorite music | I like to watch performances by Spoken Word artists, Visual Arts, and music(I prefer slow ol' school)like Luther, Anita, and the Whispers, but I do like R&B, and some Hip Hop. |
