| Introduction | I am an art collector with a concentration in photography. I have been collecting for almost 20 years fed by my passion to see new and classic work. In 2012, I started Fugitive Vision, LLC to sponsor the PGH Photo Fair, to sponsor select new photo-related art projects, and to provide art advisory to a select group of private clients. New developments in the work of Fugitive Vision will be reported here. My travels take me to fairs and festivals around the globe. My comments here are my impressions of what I see and what I believe my readers would like to know about if they were to join me. Portfolio review is an activity that I enjoy and that I'm often offered to participate in. I report here about artists I find interesting from that process. Comments pro and con are welcome and appreciated (though mediated because of problems with spam in the past). I hope my writing adds to the dialog around contemporary photography and art. |
