| Introduction | Thomas was educated in Philosophy, Greek and Classical Studies at the Jesuit University of San Francisco. He lived in Ireland for thirteen years and has traveled the world visiting ancient sites in Europe, Greece, Turkey, and Egypt to Mexico, Yucatan, Belize, Guatemala, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru. Thomas is a stone-sculptor by profession. He is the author of The Origin of Culture and Civilization (2005), concerning the sources of Atlantic history that inspired Atlantis and the Mediterranean. His latest work, The Culture of Astronomy (2011), is a student handbook of the role of ancient astronomy in the history of science and culture. |
