Introduction	I'm a native New Yorker, so my first language is Brooklynese, with a smattering of colloquial English. I work in analytical research for film production, so I get to create a lot of spreadsheets and Word documents, which is basically my sexual chocolate (office supplies make me feel things). I'm a total sci-fi and comic book geek and a sports fanatic, so don't get too offended if I yell at you for not hyphenating Spider-Man. My friends all laugh at me, but they've pretty much fostered this obsession by adding to my "impressive" collection of robots and action figures. People often ask if I actually have girl parts, even though I'm pretty sure my parents have raised me as a chick all my life. Also, if Ryan Gosling ever happens to accidentally stumble upon my posts I will probably be arrested. Oh haaaai.
Interests	I'm a Jew, so if you hold anything shiny in front of my face, chances are you'll distract me long enough to steal from my fridge. Also, any accent pretty much guarantees that I will be on my back with my legs in the air in five minutes or less. Except New Jersey. New Jersey sucks.
Favorite movies	I love horror movies, especially the 80's slasher classics. Some more of my favorites: Almost Famous, Reservoir Dogs, True Romance, Superman, Clerks, Mallrats, Ferris Bueller, Say Anything, Se7en, X-Men, The Devil Wears Prada, The Dark Knight, Sin City, Reality Bites, Fight Club, Drive and some others that will probably come to me after I finish this. I'm a movie buff, which of course comes in handy at work. I kick all my friends' asses at Scene It.
Favorite music	I'm a classic rock/70's punk/embarrassing 80's crap fanatic. Sad, but true. My all-time favorite is Radiohead. I have ended friendships with people who "don't get" Karma Police. Others: Zeppelin, The Clash, The Who, Journey, old U2, Bad Religion, Social Distortion, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Beastie Boys, Daft Punk If I had the chance, I would lock Justin Bieber in a room with flying knives.
Favorite books	Yes, I do read, and not Little Golden Books. Again, The Devil Wears Prada was great. I also like Dean Koontz books, and I've read all the classic Stephen Kings, although the new ones leave me bored. I also really like Dennis Lehane, especially Mystic River. Also, every girl should check out The Bad Girl's Guide to the Open Road. Trust me.
