Introduction	I've been a modeller for more than forty years, which is beginning to make me feel pretty old...I started out for fun as a lad, and eventually graduated to owning hobby shops in Southport - I ran three over fifteen years, the latter two with my wife, Kim. We reluctantly let the last one go when we saw what the internet was doing to high street model shops. Now I work from home, where I have two dedicated rooms - a modelling studio and a paint room. I build models on commission, and also build for selling on eBay - something we were amongst the first to do eight years ago. My enthusiasm is undimmed by the years and I can't see stopping until my eyes go or my fingers give up.
