Introduction	I've lived my whole life in lower Michigan. I discovered about 10 years ago, that I have a gift for working with non-verbal children with behavioral issues. I was introduced to the PLAY Project in Ann Arbor, MI and realized the DIR method (i.e. Floortime) was what I was doing that made me so successful. I got trained as a Home Consultant and have been working with children and families, on the Spectrum, ever since. I have also lost two children--one to a heart defect at age 16 and one to an accidental overdose at age 23.
