| Introduction | Hi, I'm Beth of Red Barn Farm. Locally I am known as the lady with the barn quilts (large painted quilts on the side of our barn). The Grey Knight,Bear (our Newfoundland dog),2 cats and I live on a small farmette. On this farmette we grow as much as we can (my neighbors think we are wierd especially after last year's wheat) in order to have good food and be self sufficient. Every year we experiment with new crops while keeping our old favorites. I garden while Bear destroys the rest of the lawn (hey, he is pre prepping it for more crops!) We don't sell our crops but we do have a strong barter community going. I grow alot of herbal teas which I'm able to trade for other things we can't produce. Reach me at bwilliams0113@hotmail.com |
