| Introduction | Although my 8 kids are grown, I now have grandkids and am always on the lookout for ways to teach and entertain. I also think there is so much good parenting information available and love sharing what worked for me and what I wish I'd tried. Now that we're empty nesters Marty and I split our time between a Hawaiian cottage and our van when we're visiting our kids on the mainland. Spread out over five states vanlife seemed to be the most practical way to visit. It's been quite the experience to go from a home that fit all 10 of us to our tiny homes, but it's also been an adventure. The Awkward Mom blog goes into some of the wins and losses. |
