Introduction	I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains in Southwest, Virginia. I have been a public school teacher and librarian. Most of my career was spent in college libraries.I am retired and spend my time writing, leading book clubs and teaching Memoir Writing for Life Long Learning at Coastal Carolina University.

Favorite Music	Any that is performed well. I especially like the music of the 1950's.
