| Introduction | I'm a long-time Alaskan—45 years!—recently transplanted to Nevada. I became a Christian at 25, returned to school later in life, and earned my BA in 2022 and MA in 2025. I suppose you could call me a late bloomer—but it's never too late. For over 20 years, my late husband and I lived a subsistence lifestyle in the Alaska Bush. I’ve hunted, fished, trapped, ridden snowmachines on frozen rivers, flown (as a passenger) in single-engine planes, panned for gold, and even helped goats give birth. Now retired from my former career, I stay busy writing devotionals, Bible studies, and children's stories. |
