| Introduction | In the years between 1989 and 1998 I had the honor of working with Charles Stevenson, first as an apprentice and then as his business partner in fine art. He had been looking for a young artist to whom to pass on his philosophy, his skills and knowledge about painting and I had been wanting to learn painting from a master.
