| Introduction | Brigadier aged 84,have travelled around the world after retirement! Write Middles/Musings in Deccan Herald &Tribune & Harmony & Army related in Fauji Magazine, The HIndu; Travel Articles in Deccan Chronicle; Hindu: Asian Age ;Deccan Herald& Silver Talkies.My Book:“Straight Trees Are Cut First”was published in 2009. In 2014, self published selected 53 stories into a book: “Many Laughs & A Few Tears”. My 3rd Book coming soon. While at M.Com at Madras University,‘OG drew me to IMA in '61. Commissioned June '62 in Artillery. Had an impressive career, qualifying in many coveted courses& variety of Instructional and staff assignments;participated in Indo-Pak Wars of 1965 and 1971. Two personal tragedies made me leave uniform in 1995. While a Brigadier, did MBA at age 49 with Gold Medal from Punjabi University,while simultaneously standing University First in M.Sc (Int’l Relations &; Def Studies) from Madras University. Golfer till recently (Bad back now!) and voracious reader of magazines and fiction. Fond of soft instrumental music but hearing has gone bad. Have modelled too; see snaps in blog!
