| Introduction | I am your average every day runner/walker. I didn't start running until 2002 when I joined a local running group. The more I ran the more I wanted to go farther. I did my first full marathon in 2006 which I power walked since I had been dealing with ITB because of my running. I spent a few years doing nothing but racewalking and even did a 50k trail race by walking the whole way in 2010. In 2011, I was back to running again and did my 2nd 50k at the Bartlett Ultra. 2022 still running trails and roads but trails are my favorites. Finally got over the ITB issue which was due to weak hips and took a lot of PT but no more issues! Just going to kept going as long as I can. Enjoy the trip to the end of the road! |
