Introduction	The longest journey is made one step at a time. This blog is the written journey. The heading on this section was "about me." You probably remember the lyric, "You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you." This blog isn't about me as much about the journey on which writing takes me. One journey will be my childhood. I've got 55 pages about some of the injuries of my youth, and the consequences. You do not need to know of those hurts to understand what is here. My first project, I have also discovered, is not about that painful memory nor about how I survived those experiences and eventually came to flourish. It is instead a labor of love, a book for the parents of young children and for the children themselves. The point of this blog is not who I am, nor is it really what I write, but rather how anyone writes. How common is my experience? I welcome comments about your own experiences.
Interests	The huge world.
Favorite books	They are pretty much all favorites of mine. I've read trash and classics, ancient and modern, "adult" and kiddie stuff, and loved most of it. The only book I remember having started but never-at least not yet -finished in all these years is James Joyce's Ulysses.
