| Introduction | I have been married to Dede Carter since 1985. We have four wonderful children: Catherine, Michael, Josiah, and Sarah Beth. We also have 1 son-in-;law, 1 daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren. I am currently the Sr. Pastor of Living Hope Church in Athens, GA (www.livinghopeathens.org). Prior to that, I was the college pastor at Grace Church in Edina, Minnesota for 4 years, the senior pastor of the First Evangelical Free Church in Onalaska, Wisconsin for 17 years, and the Pastor of Discipleship and Spiritual Growth at Watkinsville First Baptist Church in Watkinsville, Georgia for 4 years. I also do consulting with Injoy Stewardship Services. I have written 5 books: "Meeting You Where You Are"; "Pastoring with Passion"; "Serving with Passion"; "Well Done"; and "God Does What?"
