Introduction As a child I lived in Cambridge Road,in the Beehive district between Horwich and Bolton. I attended Victoria Road infants/junior schools and Rivington and Blackrod Grammar School from 1953-1960. I still enjoy meeting up with Old Rivs,especially at the Old Rivs Dinner in October each year. I trained as a teacher at Edge Hill Training College in Ormskirk and taught in Liverpool, and areas of St. Helens. I am married with 3 grown-up children and 7 grandchildren. I began to write after taking early retirement from teaching. In 1998 I joined the Romantic Novelists' Association and I have had over 30 novellas published by D.C. Thomson in their My Weekly Pocket Novel series, all of which have been published in Large Print by F. A Thorpe. These are all available in libraries My first hardback, 'A Most Rebellious Debutante' is now on sale and in libraries. My latest novella, 'A Bride For Lord Mountjoy' and will be available on Amazon from the end of August. I am a committed Christian and serve on the executive Board of St. Helens Chapter of Aglow International, a group of caring Christian women. We meet on the first Thursday of every month at Park Inn, Linkway, St. Helens
