| Introduction | I'm Mike. I'm an aspiring author and have had three short stories accepted for publication to date. As a result I've decided I should probably have some sort of public profile somewhere. I work in a homeless hostel so I have to be very careful what information is freely available about me on the internet, so don't expect anything too revelatory. |
| Interests | Reading (sci-fi and fantasy mainly), writing (as before), listening to music, playing music (guitar), singing (sort of), DJing, watching football (soccer), watching nature documentaries, watching science documentaries, watching MMA, walking, reliving my teenage years by playing Necromunda. |
| Favorite movies | Lord of the Rings, Tank Girl, Chris Nolan's Batman movies, Pitch Black, Chronicles Of Riddick... in general things that have fantasy or sci-fi elements, or lots of explosions. I get enough 'gritty real life' in my day job, I like escapism. |
| Favorite music | Punk. I could list all the bands, but we'd be here all day. Also partial to more mainstream rock, 90s British indie, EBM/Industrial, and very limited metal. |
| Favorite books | Lord of the Rings, A Song Of Ice And Fire, The Dresden Files. After that, all sorts of things in a similar vein, but they're the roots. Although I'm also partial to the better-written of Games Workshop's novels for a more sci-fi flavour. |
