| Introduction | I am passionate about the planet, animals, and the responsible stewardship of resources. I have been married for 14 years to Alfa Dog (Alfie); an artist, musician, and soulmate. He has two highly accomplished adult sons, and we have 2.5 rescue dogs. By this I mean we rescued each other and Alfie and I are honored to have been chosen as the people they can safely trust and love. I earned a Masters Degree in Social Work at age 47 and work as a mental health crisis clinician at a county hospital that serves people without money or insurance. This is but one example of what is possible at middle age. Therefore I have no patience for people who are "too old" or "too tuckered" to do anything different or challenging. I crochet, create, and take great pride in creative problem solving. My favorite toy has always been my own imagination. |
