It is the story of my family; or as Andrew Carnegie put it, "shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations." It is also a cautionary tale, because people who don't guard their assets will find themselves separated from those assets by thieves. We'll call those thieves Jack and "the Foullers." The thieves are not always the people you most fear, but they are the people most lacking in the real assets of character, charity and empathy. This is a true story and will bear full documentation.
