| Introduction | I have been a cooking teacher for over 30 years. I adore food-all food. My family jokes that our family crest should be a plate with crossed fork and knife. I lived in Maryland where we had a mini farm which taught me alot about growing our food and preserving it as well. When we moved to St Louis I missed my vegetable garden so I volunteered at the Missouri Botanical Garden as a docent and eventually became the co-chairman of the program. My other interest is art. I was an art major in college. I applied to become a docent at the St Louis Art Museum and worked there for 17 years. My interests in gardening and art have contributed greatly to my interest in food. I only write up restaurants that I think are worth your patronage. I hope you find it helpful. |
