About me

Introduction	My name is Kasey Simmons. I was born and raised in Winston Salem, North Carolina and graduated as an Honors Graduate and member of the National Honors Society from West Forsyth High School. After high school I continued my education at the University of South Carolina- Columbia. After an interesting, trying, and somewhat unpleasant experience, I transferred and now attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a sophomore college student, I have lived on campus for two years, experienced a great diversity of people and education, and spent a great deal of time volunteering for Habitat for Humanity Restore and the Children's Home for foster children in my hometown. Though I intend to study business with a focus on marketing, I am very interested in the Spanish language and culture, as well as improving economic conditions of developing countries through the approach of microfinance.
