Introduction	This Blog is dedicated to our natural world. We are currently residing on a section of land on the edge of a lake, where we have attempted to create a bird and butterfly friendly habitat. Observing nature is a delightful pastime and we enjoy roles as citizen scientists participating in Project FeederWatch and the Loon Survey through Bird Studies Canada. Some of the bird and other wildlife photos were taken during Tony Beck's birding excursions. Other photos were taken on my own in our backyard or around Ottawa, various places in Quebec and other places around the country.
