| Introduction | We are a Christian family, raising our sons in our bicultural & bilingual world with Latino blood coursing through our veins. The sounds & rhythms of our home along with the aromas of our kitchen and a brood of 4 sons makes for a lively mix. Some days are great & some are not, but we love every moment of the life God has abundantly blessed us with. |
| Favorite movies | Depends on who you ask in the family. as the only "girl", i love a good drama, movies based on true stories or history, "chick" flicks (of course!), mysteries, suspense. Favorties in our family, that can be seen over & over & over & over, are: A Few Good Men, Gladiator, Remember the Titans, Shawshank Redemption, Unforgiven, Lord of the Rings (all 3), The Last Samurai, Saving Private Ryan. |
| Favorite music | We're all music lovers in our home & a pretty eclectic bunch. It pretty much depends on what we're listening to @ the moment. You can never go wrong with the following artists: Steven Curtis Chapman, Jeremy Camp, Relient K, Hawk Nelson, UnderOath, Disciple, Sanctus Real, Norah Jones (matt & jane), Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Toby Mac, DC Talk (we need a new album!!), Pillar, Skillet (marc's fave), Decypher Down, Fireflight, The Fray, Mainstay, The Wedding, John Reuben, Falling Up, TFK, Manic Drive, Vagabond 12 (where are you????), Flyleaf, FM Static. |
| Favorite books | I read pretty much anything from end to end; i'm a "can't put a book down" kind of person. I've been intentional (this i've really had to work on, b/c i love reading for leisure) on reading books by christian writers that will edify my soul & strengthen my spirit. I enjoy mystery & suspense (pretty much depends on who i'm into for the month). Favorite books: Blue Like Jazz (revolutionized by life). |
