| Introduction | I was born in New York but mostly raised in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. When I was twelve, my parents took me to Southern California for spring break, I vowed to live there one day. After college, I packed up my stuff and found a one bedroom apartment in Hollywood. Soon after, I met my future husband. He likes to tell people I was his intern. Not really true. We got married and had a little red-headed girl who loves monsters and pretends to be a rock star. She gave me the new title of Heart Mom. A Heart Mom has the honor to parent a brave kid who goes through many open heart surgeries. |
