| Introduction | The Positive Living message has been the work of many people over many centuries. It is family based as the main strategy in this country to reduce the infection with HIV/AIDS and to help those infected. The message has been promoted in Papua New Guinea by the founder Bruce Copeland amid the hostility of Australian advisors who wanted to push for a message of individual rights without focus on accompanying responsibilities. These were the gay and lesbian advisors now working for the United Nations. The family Positive Living message is a world message based on family love and caring.
