| Introduction | I was raised in Laramie, Wyoming and will always consider that home. In December 2005, I graduated after 4.5 years from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. During my time there I studied civil engineering, competed in cross country and track, and directed a Christian club for athletes called Athletes in Action (AIA). It was really during my time at Cal Poly that I learned what real faith is. Learning and understanding the love that God has for me, a sinner, has taught me to love others. This love brought compassion for the poor and eventually led me to serve in Guatemala with eMi. |
