Introduction I am passionate about social entrepreneurship, innovation, international development, women, youth and sport (specifically soccer/football). This blog is about sharing all things related to my passions, while highlighting the stories of young people in East Africa. I graduated from The Richard Ivey School of Business at The University of Western Ontario where I specialized in entrepreneurship. Most recently, I was working full-time at Youth Challenge International (YCI), a grassroots global youth development organization based in Toronto, Canada, as the Operations Lead. I am enthusiastic about using business for social good and development. In 2011, I worked in Guyana, South America as the Women's Entrepreneurship Project Officer where I launched a new women's networking initiative to train and support over 50 female entrepreneurs. I have experience working with entrepreneurs and youth in Kenya, Guyana, Trinidad, Jamaica, Tanzania, Ghana, Uganda, and Rwanda. I love working with young people, learning about new cultures, and playing soccer/football everywhere I go.
Interests Soccer/Football, Snowboarding, Biking, Rollerblading, Travel, Music, Photography, Social Entrepreneurship, Women's Empowerment, Innovation & Technology, and anything active and challenging!
