About me

Introduction	I'm Madeleine. I grew up in northern New Jersey and have been living for the past year in Copenhagen, Denmark. My Copenhagen adventure began, I guess, when I chose to study abroad for a semester during my junior year of undergrad. After spending four months in cozy Copenhagen, I left only to long for the cold winters, the culture that doesn't include the phrase "excuse me," and where Danishes are really just pastries. Post graduation, I was lucky enough to be offered a position at DIS and hopped on a plane back here. As I'm writing this, I am sitting amongst suitcases, dirty dishes, and floor mats used for a bed since we are leaving wonderful Copenhagen in one week. At this period of transition, I hope to hold onto my interests in photography, food, traveling and good company while figuring out my next step - which will hopefully include graduate school. While applying, I will make it my mission to share my photos and my recipes with you! This whole thing is a work in progress and I hope that the blogging community will participate in mine as much as I enjoy reading yours. Post a comment if you'd like - I'd be more than welcoming!
