| Introduction | Imagine you've loved a lady for over 5 decades, and now she's diagnosed with breast cancer. You have 3 choices: (1) Be passive, let experts advise & guide her through treatments (2) Become proactive in finding practical treatments with the very best chance of saving your sweetheart's life! (3) Be immobilized with fear - do nothing. A combination of 1 & 2 is best! So I became an expert in a big hurry, interpreting research papers & trial results about breast cancer. I can't recall studying this hard at UCT where I took Computer science, chemistry, math, statistics etc. Only now, the goal wasn't a degree, but to save the life of the woman I've loved; who's loved me steadfastly for 51y as of Dec 2022.
