Introduction	I have been writing on and off since a child with my first works published in the school magazine. A copy of which now has sadly been lost (I still live in hope that it must be put in a safe place) but gave me the first thrill of seeing my work in print. Over the years I have written, poems, articles, stories, sketches, a play and a pantomime. I have been very lucky in co-editing and producing two anthologies for the Erewash Writers Group; the first of which 'Pause A While' won the David St John Thomas Charitable Trust (in conjunction with Writers News) Community Cup.
