Introduction	This is a blog I created to document my 4,029 mile-long Bike and Build journey. From fundraising and training, to biking and building, to aching, chaffing, and sweating...this blog should cover it all. I selected the title for this blog given the definition of the word homeward: "oriented towards home." Not only will I be biking towards my lovely home of Oakland, CA, but all aspects of this Bike and Build summer will be geared towards the idea of providing more homes, for more Americans.
