| Introduction | I grew up on a farm 7 miles from town. I am the 7th of 8 children, and all of us ending up going to university at least 100 miles away from the farm. What else was I supposed to do? My thumb is the opposite of green, although I am told horseradish is a weed and even I could grow a field full of weeds! For the last 20 years I thought I was a city girl, especially when I worked corporate jobs, got to jet to London, DC, San Fran .... I got big titles, fast cars, and an ego. But deep down I missed my Mom.....and my real home. |
