| Introduction | It's all about me... as a young girl I desired to go to church, but it was not a part of our lives for whatever reason. We prayed at dinner and acknowledged that God existed. When Craig and I were engaged some friends of ours (The Bells) invited us to church. I really enjoyed going, I felt I belonged there, except for the fact if any of these people really new me, they would kick me out. I faithfully attended enjoying the music & message more and more, but still unable to understand the bible as I would try to read it. Then I started doing a bible study with my friends mom. I still couldn't understand and felt very stupid at times. One day she approached me and asked if I wanted to ask God to come into my life-I was soooo offended I thought "I pray" what else do you want? The next thing I know I am in tears on her couch asking Jesus to forgive my sins, and to take up residence in my life. I didn't understand what I did that day until years later, but now I will never forget and often hold tightly to that day when I believed in Jesus with my heart and He gave me eternal life with Him. I will never be the same. |
