| Introduction | Ram is an Innovation Strategist at IBM. He got his full-time MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University) in June 2011, and his PhD degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering in 2003 from Iowa State University, where he was given Research Excellence Award for outstanding doctoral dissertation. In between, Ram worked as a professor at University of Texas at Dallas, where he conducted research in Computer Systems & Network Technologies. He published more than 30 research articles in various IEEE Journals and Conferences, and consulted & collaborated with several start-up and midsize technology companies. Ram derives strength from his wife (Neelima), and joy from his son (Vedant) and daughter (Aadya).
