| Favorite movies | That recent remake of "Exodus". And no, the movie was not according to the Bible. The movie DID however detail the social-darwinistic/pagan mindset - well, that was running through my mind while watching the 2-hourish film. |
| Favorite music | U2 and Pearl Jam. Oh wait a sec, that's grunge-metal, i have to step away. So much in the Christian life - namely, denying self is hard. People who wax on, and on... with their fav hymns...uh, sometimes, just give me the willies. Btw, not all (especially modern) hymns are scriptural. |
| Favorite books | Robert Sheaffer's "Resentment Against Achievement." Uh, yeah, he scowled bigtime about Christians, but his take on Scripture was (and probably still is) way off - which shocked me, since he has a doctorate, and so oughta know better. But the book was good because he EXPOSES the "snarling" masses of do-nothings for exactly who they are. Freaking worthless loads who beat up kids who want to learn, and get a decent job. |
