Introduction	We created this blog to discuss our lives as a growing family. With our families living so far away from us, we decided that sharing our thoughts would bring them into our day-to-day lives, and closer to their granddaughter.
Interests	Visiting our families is always top of our interests. Then there's the simple things, like treating ourselves to McDonald's or pizza, walking around the park, watching football for Scott, watching the Duggars for Jessica :) What tops it all, though, are the daily joys of being the blessed parents of a lovely, sweet and funny little girl and now a precious boy.
Favorite movies	Scott loves old movies, we both love "Keeping the Faith" and movies about courage and perseverance, and Jessica's favorites include "One Fine Day" and "French Kiss."
Favorite music	We mostly listen to Christian music, including Michael W Smith ("Let It Rain" was our wedding song), Selah and Matt Maher.
Favorite books	Of course, the Bible is the greatest book ever written - God's ongoing love story with mankind. Jessica likes Joel Osteen's "Become a Better You" - a simple book with surprising depth, and Scott likes books about U.S. history, especially military history.
