| Introduction | ROBIN RIPLEY: My mixed media work re-examines familiar things. Recycled and natural materials are of particular interest to me as they reflect my environmental concerns. The language of objects and the way people connect with the common materials that surround them has been a recurring theme in my work. Gathering, sorting and reconfiguration are all processes I use to draw attention to the details of our world. www.robinripley.com ............................................................................... NANCY WALKER: I have been working with clay for 25 years. An urban folk artist, I use readily available, natural and discarded materials from my environment. I have collaborated with the Internationally renown Robert Minden Ensemble/Duo since its inception in 1986, and tour with them as stage manager lighting assistant for their Concerts and School Performances. I designed their CD graphics. |
