Introduction	An Architect in Ambleside in the central Lake District National Park, UK, my work is mainly the remodelling of existing buildings - cottages, barn conversions, often Listed buildings as well as modern structures - and creating new designs informed by the local vernacular and craft traditions. My client base extends far beyond the locality as this area of outstanding natural beauty attracts people from all over the World to buy property. Over many years I have developed the use of computer visualisation to improve clients' involvement in designing their homes.
