Industry Arts
Occupation Artist - Educator
Location New England
Introduction Born and raised in Alaska, I moved to Maine in 1994 to attend the Maine College of Art, where I met my future husband. After graduating in 1997 we drove across the country in a 1970 RV. Eventually we returned to Maine to get married (on a Peaks Island beach) and raise a family (in a yellow house with purple doors).

My acrylic and gouache paintings are rich in color and metaphor, and they celebrate life, love, friends and family in all their various modern forms. My work can be found in personal collections across the United States.

When I am not working in my studio, I am exploring with my two amazing children, teaching art in a Reggio Emilia inspired early childhood program, and dreaming of buying another RV and becoming a "road schooling" family.
