Favorite Movies Very long list, including The Godfather (1&2), Star Wars, ET, Cinema Paradiso, The Maltese Falcon, Casablanca, Butch cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Cool Hand Luke, The Incredibles, The Iron Giant, Life Is Beautiful, Lawrence of Arabia. My favorite actor (living) is Peter O'Toole, followed by Michael Caine and Al Pacino. But Humprhey Bogart is my all-time fave.
Favorite Music Too numerous and eclectic to mention - just about everything that is sincere. Frank Zappa is my favorite musician, followed closely by John McLaughlin, and my all time favorite rock band is The Who.
Favorite Books Easier to list some of my favorite authors. To whit: Isabelle Allende, Isaac Asimov, Richard Bach, Edgar Rice Burroughs (Tarzan of the Apes was the book that made me realize I wanted to be a writer. I was 4 or 5 at the time, so in that sense it's the most influential book I ever read), Arthur C. Clarke, Charles Dickens, Alexander Dumas, Neil Gaiman, Herman Hesse, Robert Heinlein, John Le Carre, Ursula K. LeGuin, Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Steven Pressfield, Jane Roberts (Seth), Tom Robbins, JK Rowlings, Rumi, JRR Tolkien, Mark Twain, Walt Whitman, to name a few. I also happen to really like my own works.
