| Introduction | Sewing is my creative outlet and I am very passionate about it. In my spare time, I sew, read about sewing, visit fashion exhibits at museums and spend time with sewing friends. I have also taken classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC to improve and increase my knowledge about all things sewing and fashion. It is an area where you can always find something new to learn, something that can challenge you and stretch your skills. At FIT, I have earned certifications in Ladies' Tailoring, Draping and Haute Couture techniques. I have also taken Patternmaking courses. I worked for 5 years as an Assistant Manager of Production in the corporate office of a major women's apparel company in New York City's garment district. |
