| Introduction | I've been spinning and weaving since 1996. My interest in spinning started with a desire to make a keepsake from the fur of my dog. My interest in weaving has grown from the interaction with people with other fiber interests. I consider myself a utilitarian spinner/weaver. I make things that I can use: fabric and yarns for clothing and household items. I typically use natural fibers. I raise angora rabbits for a source of luxury spinning fiber and the wonderful companionship of the fluffy animals. In addition to animal fibers, I spin cotton on a book charka. |
