Introduction Fr Peter Weatherby is a Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Birmingham, UK, Parish Priest of St Mary and St Thomas More, Cannock and also chaplain to Cardinal Griffin Catholic College. Before April 2016 he was a parish priest in Stoke-on-Trent, where he lived for 23 years. He now considers himself a Stokie in Exile. From 1983 to 1995 Fr Peter was an anglican minister, and was given a dispensation by Pope Saint John Paul II to be ordained to the Catholic priesthood in 1997. He is married to Shirley. They have five surviving children, 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren (so far ...).
