| Introduction | I was "that" kid who wanted every art supply she could horde and hated when my crayons weren't sharp anymore (which is why I never wanted to share them)! Yes, I asked for boxes of teaching supplies and paper for Christmas and whatever the latest Crayola invention was for my birthday. Growing up in Virginia Beach, I was inspired creatively by the beauty of seeing the beach every day although going to college in rural Farmville, Virginia (yes that is a real town and yes it was aptly named) changed my creative focus a bit as I earned degrees in both Elementary Education and Child Psychology. After teaching public school for 10 years, then taking a homeschool "journey" with my daughter for the last 3, I am finally FREE to focus on my crafts. My daughter currently attends a wonderful private school and I am doing everything but the LAUNDRY! |
