Introduction | I'm really not that interesting. One of the things that has had a big impact on my life is the fact that I've been dealing with chronic illnesses for a large chunk of it. In 1997 I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease. Then in 2001 I was diagnosed with Babesiosis and Bartonella, two co-infections of Lyme disease. And in February (2005) I was diagnosed with a form of Dysautonomia called Neurocardiogenic Syncope (NCS), Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, and reactive hypoglycemia and then with gastroparesis in the spring of 2006. I am currently dealing with all these illnesses/conditions and on treatment for most of them. Aside from health stuff (which takes up a good deal of my life and forced me to give up a lot of things), I'm a pretty quiet, quite silly, and fairly creative person. Most of the time I think no one really knows what I'm talking about...even me! But randomness and insanity can be good sometimes. |
