| Introduction | Fantasy-fiction writer and fiction fanatic from the Urban Wastlelands. I've been fascinated by authors, books and how great stories get written most of my life. At college, I got an A Level in English Literature & Language, although only a few key people encouraged me to keep writing. Attempting publication of my first novella in 2007, I failed to obtain a literary agent. (Although I plan to keep trying). This blog is my attempt to support unpublished writers like myself, gain a better understanding of the modern publishing industry, how to protect and enhance one's manuscripts, create genuine opportunites for unpublished writers and forge workable links with published professionals. Writing credits include published articles for an Educational Art Magazine and interview on BBC Radio 4. My professional background began by working for a Communications Giant, although later I began to specialise in PC & Server technical support. |
