| Introduction | I am the founder of Sandy's Land Publishing House and Entertainment Service where the mission is to empower and inspire young people with innovative products and apparel that promote hope, love and faith. In addition, Sandy's Land Service advocate self expression with art and offer programs to decrease child-hood obesity with interactive games. The "Healthy Kid" program includes fun food preparation, exercise techniques and helpful healthy hand-outs. The "I Can Do That!" program demonstrates fun ways to go green with recycling. As a lupus survivor and advocate, my goal is to provide knowledge of the disease and holistic alternatives. My first book, "Imani Has The Most Exciting Dream!" gently introduces the young reader to the illness. This beautifully illustrated book includes powerful tools to increase a child's self-esteem. My second book Girl Power Discover the Princess Within provide 5 key tools to build a Girl's Self-Esteem: how to defuse the action of a bully, explore ones imagination, the importance of journaling, develop healthy friendships and self love. Both stories will ignite a child's personal power. |
