| Introduction | This blog is designed to be my online spiritual journal... Just a place to jot down my thoughts and impressions from time to time... I was recently reading in the Old Testament, and came across a reference to an "Ebenezer"... It reminded me of the phrase, "Here I raise my Ebenezer, here by Thy great help I’ve come", (from the hymn, Come Thou Fount)... The word Ebenezer means "Stone of Help"... It was a stone monument meant as a token of gratitude for the Lord's deliverance... I realized that I have my own "Ebenezers"... I have this habit of picking up pretty rocks, from various places in my travels, especially at times in my life when I need to remember the Lord's Grace and Mercy... When I look upon these stones, I remember the spiritual lessons attached... This is the spot I have chosen to write about some of those lessons... |
